Co-ordinated by Nicholson Design this scheme aimed to improve the practicality of this front garden.
Beige sandstone paving covers the majority of the floor space providing a smooth surface leading to the front door and bike shed. A new double skin wall built from reclaimed bricks defines the front boundary and it’s sandstone coping ties it back to the main paved area. A hardwood slatted timber fence improves the left boundary and the refurbished bike shed adds practicality and storage. Taxus hedging softens the front and right boundary walls while Buxus balls add structure to the planting. Herbaceous species include Astrantia, Agapanthus, Geranium and Lavender while a semi-mature Olive tree adds height and interest.
