Designed by Field Peas Landscape Studio, and built by GRDN the brief for this project was to create an external space for outdoor working, dining and entertaining.
A pergola structure, elevated within the garden with pendant lighting creates the focal point within the garden. Clay brick pavers are laid using different bonds to carefully break up the garden, and create different spaces.
Three feature multi stem trees are located within the garden to add interest and vertical structure to the space. The new planting scheme combines evergreen structure with mixed herbaceous forms. The rich green tones contrast nicely with the new horizontal boundary fence which was painted to soften the edge.
New external lighting has been implemented throughout the garden, to create an extension of the house, and enable the client to use the garden in the evenings.
