INTRODUCTION
This initial consultation is a chance to meet you and view your garden. The aim is to set an initial brief and find out what you would like to achieve.
01
SITE SURVEY
Depending on site and project, advice will be given on whether the survey can be undertaken in-house or a professional landscape surveyor will be required. This is an essential stage that accurately accounts for level changes, existing structures and services which could influence the design and construction.
02
CONCEPT DESIGN
A concept document is produced which typically includes 2 layout sketch options for your garden with supporting precedent images to illustrate how the garden will look. This document will also include outline ideas about planting, furniture and lighting.
03
DETAILED DESIGN & COSTING
If required and based on an agreed fee, a final detailed masterplan drawing is produced together with detailed construction drawings and specifications where relevant. In addition, planting plans, schedules and supporting mood boards are drawn up and presented for approval before sourcing.
04
IMPLEMENTATION
During the implementation stage, project monitoring begins. This involves regular / pre-arranged site visits from ourselves to monitor quality and progress of works but also deal with any design queries.
05
AFTER CARE
Once the project is complete we suggest an ongoing maintenance program. We will assist with recommending aftercare companies to carry out regular maintenance.
