Brief: This contemporary South East London garden was designed to create a series of connected outdoor spaces for relaxing, entertaining and everyday family life. A striking black timber garden room and pergola provide architectural structure, while generous planting brings softness, seasonal colour and biodiversity throughout the garden.

Naturalistic planting, mature trees, a corten steel water feature and herringbone brick paving combine to create a calm and inviting atmosphere. The garden includes a shaded seating area beneath the pergola, an outdoor kitchen and dining space, and carefully crafted pathways that guide movement through the landscape. The result is a modern family garden that feels both elegant and deeply connected to nature.
